My Dearest Trip to Obuse

I went to Obuse with my friends this weekend to "do nothing" literally.

We walked around the beautiful city of Obuse.
It was much more crowded than I'd expected, so we tried to stay away from the main street, the most crowded place.

One of the best experience was Neburo(寝風呂), literally translated as "lying bath", where you lie and put your body under the water and your head above.
It's so relaxing we spent almost one hour in the bathroom.

Obuse is famous not only for its beautiful scenery, but also its tasty foods. We bought sake & wine and bring them to the shores of Chikuma river, where it's too cold to stay long.
We didn't have much to do; we juts ate, drank, and slept a lot.

After entering the Graduate school, I've somehow avoided spending time aimlessly.
But during this trip we tried doing nothing, which I found quite interesting when you spend time with close friends.

Now that the trip is over, and it's time to face the reality: I have to work hard again.
But I feel I can do it, knowing the friends I went along with were going to work hard too.

Anyway, the college classes start again from tomorrow...
